Description
Our Ford 9″ is one of a kind. There are no factory parts used in the process of building this rear end. Everything is new and aftermarket including the housing. We use a nodular iron third member and a pro race 35 spline pinion gear set, depending on gear ratio. The housing we use is the same shape as a factory Ford housing but twice as thick with a 3/8″ face plate. It receives three-inch OD 1/2-inch wall dom tubing. It also receives HD leaf/coil pads, full 3/8-inch truss, one piece 4140 billet axle savers, HD pad gussets/chain mounts and pinion brake. We take the time to fill them with oil and break the gears in properly so there is no surprise work once received. Our 9″ rears come standard with 40 spline axles with bronze bearings, choice of bolt pattern, and choice of gears. If there is a gear ratio that you prefer and is not listed, please contact us.
